Durant's future

While right now the NBA is owned by the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers, some new up and coming stars are going to be contenders in the championship arena, especially once KB24 retires. Kobe is without a doubt the best player in the NBA right now and quite possibly one of the best players of all time. The late Great John Wooden said never mistake activity for achievement. However Kevin Durant, who now plays for the Oklahoma Thunder, could emerge as one of Basketball's more dominant players in the years to come. While he most likely won't be dominating over the Black Mamba, he will be one of the emerging players once Bryant retires. Durant led the Oklahoma Thunder last season with 27 more wins than the previous year, an amazing improvement. One thing is sure, unless some unforeseen and tragic injury hits Durant, he is one player to be reckoned with and one player to sign.
